Erasmus KA107 Partner Countries Incoming Teaching Staff
The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission promotes the mobility of students and lecturers.
The action Erasmus+ KA171 of this program provides funding for exchange mobility with partner countries.
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) has been awarded with scholarships under the action KA171 therefore students and staff from our partner universities have the opportunity to fund their exchanges to our institution.
Types of mobilities:
The available grants are to undertake a stay of 5 days (plus 1 or 2 travelling days) to make a:
- Staff Mobility for Training (STT): enables teaching staff and administrative staff a period of training to learn from colleagues and experts.
- Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA): teaching staff participates by giving a minimum of 8 hours of teaching activities
- Teaching / Training Combined: teaching staff participates by giving a minimum of 4 hours of teaching activities and doing 4 hours of training.
Grants for the mobility of personnel for teaching and training in third countries.
The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission promotes the mobility of the university community and the Erasmus+ KA171 action of this programme provides funds for mobility with third countries.

Les candidatures del personal incoming que vagi al dept/centre de la UAB que va sol·licitar mobilitats amb el país d'origen, rebran més puntuació en un dels criteris de selecció (veure punt 7 – criteris de valoració)
Priority means:
The candidacies of incoming staff who go to the dept/centre of the UAB that requested mobility with the country of origin, will receive more score in one of the selection criteria (see point 7 – evaluation criteria)
INSURANCE
Faced with the Covid-19 pandemic, we require all staff to stay within the KA171 2023 program, to accredit coverage of travel and accident assistance insurance (minimum €1000,000) that includes medical, surgical and civil liability expenses in the country of destination.
The insurance is not covered by the Erasmus grant, it is borne by the participant.
AMOUNT OF THE GRANTS
In accordance with the provisions of the Guide of the Erasmus + Programme, the participant will receive the grants corresponding to the following concepts:
- Maintenance expenses: up to €160/day (up to 7 days, see call)
- Travel aid: amounts according to the distance calculator of the European Commission: http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance laen.htm

APPLICATION PROCESS
The application period will remain permanently open, from 10 November 2023 to 15 March 2026, according to the Calendar (section 8 of the call) where you will find the deadlines for applications and the deadlines for resolution.
The staff interested in participating in this call for Erasmus+ KA171 grants must do so by filling in the ONLINE FORM and attaching the required documentation.
