The information in this enrollment section for the following academic year is updated on July 1 of each year.

Check here the information on how you should present the documentation.
This documentation must be presented to the Doctoral School within 10 days of the date you self-enrolled in one of these ways:
If you have been conditionally admitted while waiting for you to finish your Master's studies, once you have requested the replacement certificate for the title, you must send it to address ed.admissions@uab.cat, before doing the self-registration (you must identify yourself by indicating your ID / passport, NIU, name and surname). If the master's degree is from a university other than the UAB, you must also present the replacement certificate along with the rest of documentation according to the instructions in the previous paragraph.

For the academic year 2023-2024, the cost of the fees is as follows:
There are two prices, depending on whether the access qualification is from within or outside Spain:
The fees include:
The Permanent Board of the Steering Committeeof the Doctoral School agreed, in the July 2021 session, that the complementary insurance is mandatory for all PhD students. You have more information on this link.
If you are thinking of taking part in an exchange programme outside Spain or you are spending a research period abroad you should take out complementary mobility insurance. You must mark it on the optional fees screen.
If you have already formalized the registration previously and have not marked this mobility insurance, you can make a self-registration modification in this link to hire it (you must also pay the registration modification fee).
If you have to register for bridging courses, you must register for and obtain these credits during the first year of the PhD, making the appropriate payment of the fees as set out for the Master’s degree to which they belong. If you are an applicant from outside the EU you must pay the corresponding fee.
Scholarships, grants and payments made for others:
If you are a grant holder or you have any other fee reduction please see the links. If your scholarship is not related in this table, you will have to pay the registration fee (the PhD students of CONACYD -Mexico- must pay the registration fee).
If the scholarship or scholarship contract or a grant to pay the tuition is awarded in one of these institutions, you will not be able to self-enroll. You must contact your institution so that they authorize the payment by invoice and they communicate it to the address ed.matricula@uab.cat. In the email you send them, you must attach this SEPA document to be able to pay the amount that they do not cover you. Here you will find the procedure and the model list that the institution will send us. Upon receipt of this communication, the Doctoral School, every Thursday (from July 15 to November 15) will enroll and send you the proof by email. The procedure to make the payment of the invoice will be managed between the Doctoral School and the institution.
If you cannot do the self-enrolment because you have a scholarship or a specific aid that is not included in any of the two documents indicated above, you can contact the Doctoral School at ed.matricula@uab.cat, indicating your full name, the NIA / NIU and providing the justification for the scholarship or aid you have.
