Student Representation Workshop

The Student Representation Workshop is an activity organized by the Community Involvement Unit, which aims to publicize the UAB's channels of participation and representation and the role of the student representative, apart from offering the opportunity to get to know the institution in which you are studying.

The activity is aimed at anyone who is studying and is interested in this topic, especially those who have been chosen for a representative position.

This year, the workshop will be held from July 19 to 23 and, unlike last year, it will be completely face-to-face. In addition, different content related to student representation tasks will be discussed. The organization of student representation at the UAB will be discussed, what types there are, how they are distributed and what their main functions are. The figure of the delegate will also be discussed, present in all courses of all grades and essential for good group dynamics and communication between the teaching staff and the team of the corresponding faculty. Other content to be discussed will be the suprauniversity representative bodies, their tasks, functions and organization. Related to all these issues, the basic regulations that affect the student and participation will also be elements that will be discussed in the workshop; in order to let know what can and cannot be done in terms of representation and participation as a student. Finally, there will be a compilation of other ways of student participation at the UAB that are not mentioned in the large blocks of content mentioned above.

To participate, you just have to fill in this registration form and, with this activity, you can recognize 1 ECTS credit.
