New session of the Delegates’ Forum

The Delegates’ Forum is a training, debate and informative space, which consists of training sessions of no more than 90 minutes about topics of interest.
The Delegates’ Forum is a training, debate and informative space aimed at all the delegates of the UAB academic groups. During the Delegates Meeting held on December 2015, the attending delegates manifested the need for a regular meeting space so that they can debate and reinforce the relationship among delegates of the UAB faculties.

The Delegates’ Forum consists of training sessions of no more than 90 minutes about the themes that delegates valued as the most interesting in the last meeting. 

The session of Thursday 25 February was attended by 14 delegates from different faculties and together they looked in depth at the delegates’ tasks by sharing their experiences of success and frequent problems. After analysis these experiences, the figure of the delegate appeared as key to boost participation in class; the delegate is also a mediator and the main interlocutor between classes and different agents. Moreover, the delegate is the connection point between different parts of the faculty and the university, such as academic groups, the office of the dean, studies coordinators, professors and the Student Council.

As a result of the meeting, the FAQs for delegates has been expanded with the doubts that appeared during the meeting.

The next session will take place on Monday 14 March at 3.30 pm and on Friday 18 March at 12.30 pmin L’Àgora (building R). The delegates will have the opportunity to clarify any doubts about grants.

Within
