First edition of "Veus" talks to be held soon
As part of the UAB Science Week, a new conference series entitled "Veus" aims to share knowledge generated by the UAB with the general public.
With the aim of sharing transformative and inspiring knowledge generated at the UAB, the University organises a conference series entitled "Veus", which will take place on Thursday 16 November. The conferences will be given in the Theatre Hall of the Plaça Cívica, from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
Members of the university community will participate in the activity to present their ideas and projects. The speakers have been chosen with special interest in proposals that are committed to multidisciplinarity and inclusion, both in terms of the speakers and the audience to which the actions are addressed.
The selection criteria have focused on the relevance of the proposals to accept a challenge arising from society to which a response has been sought, in any area of knowledge, as well as on the quality of the proposed idea.
The conferences will be recorded on video and published on the website and on the UAB's official YouTube channel starting in January.
