The auditorium of the UAB Faculty of Philosophy and Arts held a conference by Christian Felber, writer and lecturer at the University of Vienna and creator of the concept “economy for the common good”, on 24 November.

The company GoEuro is offering a grant to students interested in spending three months in their Berlin office. The grant will go to the student with the most creative project on a better connected Europe.
On 29 and 30 October, an international debate entitled "La lectio divina a la Península Ibèrica medieval. Posició, producció i usos de l'exegesi" will take place at the conference hall of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts.
The discoverer of the Lope de Vega comedia “Mujeres y criados”, will offer a conference on 30 October at 4 pm at the conference hall of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. He will speak on how he found the manuscript, believed to be lost until the beginning of 2014.
On 15 October the contest “Aquí busquem nom!” starts, which aims to gather proposals to find a name for the R Building of the UAB, located at the Plaça Cívica.
The university moves up 12 positions in this year's ranking. It ranks number 157 and is the second top university in Spain.
Bicycles will be the stars at the 9th Sustainable and Safe Mobility Week, held from 20 to 24 October. Several activities are programmed for each day of the week and all are open to the university community.
