Open Day at the SAF: master class to present new activities
The SAF invites the university community to participate in its open day and enjoy a free master class, taking place on Thursday 19 September at the SAF facilities from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The UAB to emit 13,000 tonnes less CO2 after buying 100% green energy
The UAB will no longer generate 13,017 tonnes of CO2 each year thanks to the acquisition of 100% sustainable energy, equivalent to the emissions generated by 36,000 train trips from the UAB to Barcelona every day during an entire year.
Services at the UAB campus in August
During the month of August, UAB campus services will have special opening hours and some will close for a short period. Train and bus lines to and from campus will also function on different timetables.
UAB's archaeology students participate in the Arqueoborn project
Students of the UAB bachelor's degree in Archaeology are participating this summer in the Arqueoborn project: researching the urban site of the El Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria with the objective of obtaining the entire chronostratigraphic sequence from between the end of the 13th century and the year 1717.

On 14 May the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology presented 50 anys del moviment estudiantil a la UAB, half a century of student activism in celebration of the UAB's 50th anniversary. The presentation took place at the faculty's conference hall.

From 3 June to 25 July and from 2 to 17 September the Communications Library and General Newspaper Archive will be displaying “Entre línies. Viatge, desig i fantasia il·lustrada”, a look at the history of illustrated literature.
