UAB hosts the first BTS fans’ meeting in Barcelona

Plaça Cívica hosted the first BTS Fans Meeting in Barcelona on 6 June. BTS (BangTan Sonyeondan) is a world-famous K-pop (Korean pop) group. This event was organized by the student society Korean Club with the collaboration of other entities as BTS Barcelona and AKA Association.

The event started with a kahoot game with questions about BTS in the Sala Annexa, inside the Hotel d’Entitats. Subsequently, everyone went to the Plaça Cívica to enjoy the cover performances by different K-pop dance groups in Barcelona.

Other cultural, linguistic and leisure activities to spread the Korean culture and language were being held at the same time, such as workshops for learning hangul (the Korean alphabet) or making gimbap (a Korean variation of sushi). Participants also had the chance to take part in raffles to win plenty of prizes. 

People of all ages and both from inside and outside UAB attended this event, which concluded being a huge success.
