UAB helps you teach in English
The UAB Language Service offers lecturers interested in teaching in English the chance to take a massive open online course (MOOC) entitled English for Teaching Purposes as well as a classroom-based course.
a) Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) English for Teaching Purposes from the Coursera platform (from 2 February to 2 March 2015). This is a free course created and offered by the UAB Language Service and allows participants to learn at their own pace online during a month together with other university lecturers from around the world.
b) Twenty-hour course in English for Teaching Purposes (from 17 March to 23 April 2015, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm to 3 pm). This mostly practical course, ideal as a follow-up to the Coursera online course, is open to all UAB lecturers with a level B2 of English. The course is free for all UAB academic staff members.
You can register online for the MOOC course directly at Coursera. Registration for the twenty-hour classroom-based course can be done at the Language Service.
