Recently, the UAB and the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya signed a collaboration agreement involving teaching and research activities. UAB Rector Ferran Sancho and Jordi Ballart, president of the Council of the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya and Mayor of Terrassa, signed a collaboration agreement which represents the first visible step towards creating a postgraduate diploma in Interactive and Multiplatform Audiovisual Communication, which will be offered jointly at the Faculty of Communication Studies and the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya.

The signing of this agreement by the two centres was carried out with the aim of working together on higher education courses, with emphasis on the importance of training and academic profitability of the PAC's activities. The fact that the agreement was signed with the UAB to begin a postgraduate programme is due to the university's relation with the Vallès Occidental region and its social and economic partners.

The signing of the agreement included the present of Josep Maria Català, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Studies; Antoni Vidal, Director of the UAB Campus Mèdia; Amadeu Aguado, Deputy Mayor of Culture and Economic Promotion of Arguendo City Council of Terrassa; Josep Manel Rodríguez, Delegate Counsel of the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya; and Pietat Hernández, Manager of the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya.
