A special concert for a special occasion. This year Quim Miranda and Pau Casals, former directors of the UAB Choir and the UAB Orchestra respectively, will together direct a joint performance with the choir singers from the Faculty of Education.
The concert programme will be varied and the university community will be able to enjoy pieces from consecrated authors such as J. S. Bach and G. Fauré, traditional Catalan Christmas carols and modern songs by the Beatles or the recently departed Leonard Cohen.
The event will take place on Tuesday 20 December at 2 p.m. at UAB Theatre Hall (Plaça Cívica). The entrance is free, but seating is limited. Doors will open thirty minutes before the concert. As always, maximum punctuality is kindly requested as a sign of respect towards the audience and the singers!
Come and celebrate the season with us!
