The works ‘Carambola’ and ‘No hagas nada’ win the Exchange Photo Contest 2019

The works Carambola by Claudia Mallia and No hagas nada win the Exchange Photo Contest 2019.
 

The Dinamització Comunitària Unit announced the winners for the Exchange Photo Contest 2019 during the spring celebration Primavera a la UAB. The photographs awarded were Carambola by Claudia Mallia, in first position, and No hagas nada by Rayén Garance, in the second place.

This year’s edition counted with a total of 138 photographs. All pictures were uploaded in the Unit’s Facebook page from mid March to 7 April for the public to vote. The winners were chosen by unanimity by the Jury, formed by two specialists from Dinamització Comunitària and three students from the Mentor programme.

The aim of this contest is to capture the student’s life when experiencing an academic transition as well as to encourage other students to take part in mobility programmes in order to get more training and benefit the university’s internationalization. Each participant could submit a maximum of two original photos that must express and convey an aspect related to the experience or learning that a stay abroad entails.
