The UAB pays back your investment in languages

The UAB has opened the second term of a call for application for grant for lecturers with the aim of encouraging language learning by academic staff. These grants finance part of the cost of language courses taken and passed.

The UAB has established a programme of grants for UAB academic staff in order to improve knowledge of foreign languages through courses designed to improve foreign language skills. 
 
This year there are two types of grant for academic staff for language learning in an attempt to improve knowledge of foreign languages among lecturers and specifically raise the level of English in order to encourage promote the use of English in teaching at this university. 
 
Grants are available to those with a UAB academic staff contract which is valid for the entire period of the language course. The call opens on 1 October and the deadline for applications is 14 November. Applications should be presented to the Registre General in the Rectorat building of the UAB.
