The Office of the Vice Rector for Campus, Sustainability and Territory takes over the Office of ICTs

As of 24 October, the Vice Rector for Campus, Sustainability and Territory, Carme Miralles, takes over the functions carried out by the Rector's Commissioner for Information and Communication Technologies, Jordi Hernández, who left the post at his own request.

Students

Among these functions, Vice Rector Miralles will be responsible for the implementation of the strategic lines in ICT infrastructures for teaching, research and management and ICT tools, services and platforms for the university community.

Carme Miralles Guasch, Vice Rector for Campus, Sustainability and Territory since November 2020, is professor in the Department of Geography. She has been director of the Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies of Barcelona (IERMB) and coordinator of the university master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability, and deputy director in charge of teaching at ICTA. Between 2017 and 2020 she was director of the Department of Geography. She has been a town planning councillor in the Reus Town Council and a member of the Catalan Parliament (2000-2004).
