The Ganàpies celebrate the XXIII Spring Festival at the UAB

With spring comes the good weather and with the good weather, the desire to sunbathe and party. Next Thursday, March 10th, the entire university community will be able to enjoy the good weather with the celebration of the XXIII Spring Festival of the Ganàpies of the UAB. This year, they will be accompanied by the Trempats of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), the Emboraits of the University of Vic (UVic) and the Passerells of the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme.
 
"We considered a 2d7 with lining, which would be the fifth one we made in our history and, in the first section, 3d7 and 4d7.They are three big castles. Until five years ago it was unthinkable to make more than one or two castles of seven in the same Diada", explained Pau Rusiñol Gascones, president of Ganàpies. They expect about 450 people to attend, including about 160 ganàpies. There will also be ganapiols, ganàpies who retired, and ganapiets, children of ganàpies.
 
The day will start with a good fork breakfast at 10 am at the Frankfurt Bar de la Villa, followed by the traditional Tournament of Butifarra. At around 1:00 p.m., the Ganàpies will march from the Villa to the Plaça Cívica accompanied by the Grallers de la Viña so that at 2:00 p.m., all the groups have been summoned in the Plaça Cívica, where from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. the Diada. But the celebration does not end here: after the day, all the groups will go down below the Cívica to do the animation, at 9:00 pm they will start dinner and finish the party in Dresden.
