Rosa Araceli Santiago, Sebastià Riera and Jordi Ballester pass away
This weekend, the UAB lost three valuable members of its community: Rosa Araceli Santiago, Sebastià Riera and Jordi Ballester, all from the UAB Faculty of Arts & Humanities.The University wishes to extend its deepest condolences to all those who knew them and express the sadness felt by this loss.
The following lecturers from the Faculty of Arts & Humanities recently passed away:
Rosa Araceli Santiago, Emeritus Professor in Greek Philology in the Department of Antiquity and Middle Age Studies, passed away on Friday 21 July 2023.
Sebastià Riera, lecturer in the Department of Modern and Early Modern History, passed away on Saturday 22 July 2023.
Jordi Ballester, Chair Professor in the Department of Art and Musicology, passed away on 23 of July 2023.
