The Assessment Committee, which will evaluate the UAB activities that apply for the financial aid call of the 2016 academic year, is chaired by the Vice-rector for Students and Cooperation, and formed by two specialists from the Community Involvement Unit, one representative of the UAB Student Council and two students members of groups registered in elDirectori, chosen by lot.

In the meeting for student societies of elDirectori, held on 10 December 2015, it was agreed that the drawing would be filmed and that a video would be uploaded. The drawing took place on 12 January at 1 pm in the Resource Centre for Student Societies, the support centre for student societies and student councils of the university, which is located in front of the General Newspaper Archives (Hemeroteca) and in front of the entrance to the Study Room of the Self-service Building at the Plaça Cívica. Two people were in charge of drawing the papers, as you can see in this video, and the selected student societies were JCPC (Youth Communists of Catalan People) and AVAFES (Vet Association for the Care of Exotic and Savage Animals). There are also three substitute societies, also chosen by lot, that are Keté (Student Association for the study of aquatic animals), Asociación de Estudiantes Chinos de la UAB and Club Bàdminton Bellaterra.

The deadline for the call to receive financial aid for student activities at the UAB ends on 30 January. All the information about the call (the documentation required, the total budgetary allocation and the selection criteria) can be found in www.uab.cat/comunitat.
