Asian Cultural Day at the UAB

Next Wednesday, March 11th, UAB Plaça Cívica will host, activities, music and typical food from China, Korea, and Japan. This event aims to give an insight into the most rooted Asian traditions.

Next Wednesday, March 11^th, UAB Plaça Cívica will be filled with games and Asian traditional performances. The Chinese Students Association, Ramen Club UAB, Korean Club UAB, the Student’s Council of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, and Dinamització Comunitària unit have organised a set of activities for everyone who attends the university central square.

Among these activities, it will be held a Taekwondo workshop, given by Rafael Alba, at noon. One hour and a half later, at the same place, Ramen Club organizes a Juldarigi competition, a Korean traditional sport. Finally, at 4:15 pm, before concluding, the Dragon Dance will put an end to the day.

Besides that, traditional Asian music will be played and typical food of that area will be offered, and much more. Moreover, everyone who passes by the sqaure during the morning will be able to write a wish in the Whish tree.
