SAF: free enrolment for fresher students
The Physical Activity Service (SAF) of the UAB is offering free enrolment and open access to its facilities to fresher students up to 30 November.

2015/16 enrolment period begins
On 13 July students will be able to attend information sessions before enrolling in university. The enrolment period for first-year students admitted to the studies they chose as their first option will be open from 14 to 17 July.

Nil Rodellas has won the Argó Prize for his secondary-school research project – one among 200 that were submitted – on the mathematical concept of non-Euclidean geometries. He has picked the UAB to do Physics and Mathematics next year.
Ítaca Campus 2015 comes to an end with a closing session at the Hotel Campus
On 16 July,at 6 pm, the Hotel Campus will host the closing session of the second and last round of the Ítaca Campus programme, which lets secondary-school students spend two weeks at the UAB.

The UAB and Wikipedia collaborate on disseminating science and on cooperative learning
Archaeology, archiving, music collections, embedded systems and classical culture are some of the topic areas of contributions made by UAB students to Wikipedia. This is the collaborative learning community known as "Eduwiki".
La Draga campaign ends with the recovery of new objects
This year's archaeological dig has revealed new daily life objects used in Neolithic societies. The new ornamental objects discovered confirm the symbolical-ideological value they had for the first farming and animal husbandry communities.
