During the month of August, UAB campus services will have special opening hours and some will close for a short period.
International consolidation of La Draga's archaeological importance
This year 150 pillars have been recovered, some of them in an extraordinary state of conservation, which makes this Neolithic site a unique example of wooden architecture. Currently in the process of being declared a cultural site of natural interest, La Draga will be the central theme of an exhibition at the Archaeological Museum of Catalonia.
The Generalitat opens a call for 23 new Serra Húnter positions at the UAB
The new Serra Húnter call by the Government of Catalonia to hire new lecturers under international quality standards will be open until 1 October. There are twenty-three positions available at the UAB.
The UAB is ninth in Veterinary Medicine according to the Shanghai ranking
The UAB occupies ninth place worldwide in the field of veterinary medicine according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), the ranking conducted by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
A score of 13.352 in Physics+Mathematics is once again the highest entrance mark in Catalonia
The cut-off marks corresponding to the first enrolment period for the 2017/2018 academic year confirm the great demand for UAB undergraduate courses. The UAB's joint bachelor's degree in Physics+Mathematics is once again the one with the highest cut-off mark in Catalonia (13.352), while 22 other bachelor's degrees have cut-off marks above 10.
The UAB welcomes new students and starts this year's enrolment process
On 12 and 13 July, the UAB will hold information sessions for first-year students about to enrol in a bachelor's degree. At the UAB's enrolment website students can check the date and time of their enrolment.
New course to help researchers prepare Horizon 2020 collaborative proposals
The UAB, AGAUR, ACUP and UOC jointly organise a course on “Strategy and RDI project planning” to help researchers improve their knowledge and skills in preparing collaborative proposals within the Horizon 2020 programme.
Second edition of Campus Ítaca begins
The second edition of the Campus Ítaca will take place from 6 to 14 July. Students from this year's first edition ended their stay at the UAB with a closing session in which they presented their projects.
