From 11 November to 20 December the UAB Healthcare Service will hold its annual influenza vaccine campaign addressed to all members of the university community (staff and students), especially those at a high risk of developing flu-related complications.
Green light for the creation of an Equality Commission, delegated by the Governing Council, which will be in charge of coordinating the university's Equality Plans, and of promoting and supervising prevention and action policies in possible discriminatory situations, attitudes, etc.
The UAB Festa Major will take place on Thursday 7 November. Student stands, entities' fair, musical performances, workshops, and other activities will be held under this year's slogan: "Climate Emergency: the UAB Acts!".
Already more than 1,500 entrants have signed up for the UAB Solidarity Run on Sunday 15 December. This year all money raised will go towards research into rare diseases, the focus of this year's TV3 Marathon.
On 15 December, the UAB will once again hold the 8th edition of the Solidarity Run in support of the TV3 Marathon, dedicated this year to rare diseases research. For the first time, the run will pass through the centre of Cerdanyola.
On Thursday, 10th October, the UAB celebrates World Mental Health Day with an event that will take place at 1 p.m. at the UAB Cinema, where a part of the Antiestigma Plan in Mental Health was presented.
Monday 14 October marks the start of the "Campus Activities", an initiative which began last year to foster the organisation and attendance of students in a series of activities which will take place throughout the academic year - all are held from 1 to 3 p.m. - during which academic activities will not be held.
