On Saturday 13 May, the UAB celebrated its second Family Day, an open day in which future students and their family can visit the university campus, faculties and get to know the different services available to all community members.

On that day, future university students and their families inform themselves about the academic programmes available at the UAB, while also visiting the facilities and various services on campus. On these two days, approximately 2,700 people (890 families) from all over Spain visited the UAB.

The day began with a welcoming session at the Hotel Campus by Virginia Luzón, Vice Rector for Communication and Promotion, and Carlos Sánchez, Vice Rector for Institutional Relations and Culture.

After the session, visitors were taken on a guided tour of the campus and then to the faculty where the studies they are interested in applying for are offered. The university residence halls at Vila Universitària also were open for those interested in living on campus while they study.
