UAB participates in SustainEd project to improve training in sustainability
The European SustainEd project aims to equip university students with the knowledge, skills and competences needed to actively participate in the green transition and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this project, UAB will develop a set of sustainable learning tools for higher education students. These tools will consist of WebQuests and Living Labs to improve the understanding of sustainability and circular economy concepts, develop essential environmental skills and prepare students for real-world challenges through practical and experiential learning methods.
A handbook for educators on how to use these tools effectively will be produced, with adaptable teaching strategies, assessment methods and flexible learning resources, as well as a practical guide for educators on how to design and implement educational resources that combine webquests and living labs to enhance environmental literacy and sustainability knowledge.
This European initiative is led by the Milton Friedman University (MFU), and in addition to UAB, through CORE Smart Cities, the Fenice Foundation (Italy), the publishing house and educational consultancy Storytellme (Portugal), the NGO Acta Foundation (Bulgaria) and the company ETE Faros LTD (Cyprus) are participating.
