The UAB researches into the diseases of this year's TV3 Marathon
The InC is interested in the functioning of normal brains, what happens when they fall ill, and how they cure themselves. The centre explores all levels of biological organisation ranging from the interaction of molecules to behaviour by using cell cultures, model animals and patients. The final goal is to develop new cell, molecular, and genetic therapies for the treatment of cerebral pathologies. Rubèn López and Guillermo García-Alías are researchers at the InC in charge of explaining these types of diseases.
