The UAB launches a TikTok channel led by Interactive Communication students

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is taking another step forward to connect with its students and future applicants: the launch of an official TikTok channel aimed at showcasing the university and its campus to new generations.

This new project features the participation of two Interactive Communication degree students, Víctor Rodríguez and Laura Pierola, who will be the channel's public faces. With a fresh and approachable style, they create content designed to resonate with current and prospective students, as well as the broader university community.

The TikTok profile @uabbarcelona will feature videos about key campus events, activities, and fun facts about university life. Special content will also spotlight unique spaces at the UAB, such as the GameLab, a video game room located in the Faculty of Communication Studies.

The UAB's initiative on TikTok reflects its commitment to adapting to digital trends and opening new communication channels that foster active engagement with students, prospective students, and the university community. This initiative serves not only as an information platform, but also as a space for interaction, where students can explore the university from a fresh perspective.
