In accordance with the information issued in Royal Decree 463/2020, of 14 March, in which the state of alert is declared towards the management of the health crisis created by COVID – 19, the UAB has adapted its academic and administrative calendars as follows:

Academic Calendar

As long as it remains in force, and in accordance with Article 9 on contention measures applied to the education and training sectors in Royal Decree 463/2020, all teaching programmed in the UAB academic calendar will be maintained as planned, with adaptations made as necessary through remote systems.

Academic and Administrative Calendar

As long as it remains in force, and in accordance with the third additional disposition on suspension of administrative deadlines in Royal Decree 463/2020, all periods established for ordinary proceedings have been suspended in the public sector. In this sense, the UAB administrative academic calendar applies this suspension as follows:

  • Interruption of the calculation of terms ending within the period of duration of Royal Decree 463/2020. When the decree is no longer in effect, the terms will be resumed. At that moment, the new term dates will be announced for each of the procedures.
  • No modification of the terms corresponding to procedures that do not finalise while Royal Decree 463/2020 is in effect.

These measures and adaptations will be revised and updated according to any new directives applied in the management of this exceptional situation. In case of doubts or need of more information, please send an e-mail to your academic adminstration office.
