Temporary closure of floors -2 and -3 of the Social Sciences Library

From Monday 13 November, floors -2 and -3 of the Library of Social Sciences will be closed for work on the air conditioning installations. The estimated duration of this closure is approximately two months.

This closure will imply that:

 

• During this time, access to the library will be exclusively through floor 0 (main entrance through the hall between the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Business). You will not be able to access the Social Sciences Library through the door on floor -2 (access door to the UAB Study Room).
• The loan service will move to floor 0 of the Library.
• Users will be able to go to floor -2 to look for books, but they will not be able to stay to study and/or work.
• Group study rooms on floor -2 will also be closed. All the group study rooms on the -1 floor can be used.

This closure means a temporary transfer of the UAB Study Room to the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives
