Practical workshop to deposit research data in CORA.RDR
From 21 to 27 October, under the slogan "Community over commercialization", the UAB libraries will offer an activity as part of the International Open Access Week, with the aim of prioritising open knowledge in the academic and research sectors.
On 21 October from 3 to 5 p.m. a workshop will be held by the Library Services that is addressed to PhD graduates and UAB teaching and research staff (PDI). The session will be hybrid: on-site at the Faculty of Medicine's Board Room and online via Teams. The activity will be held in Catalan and will consist in explaining how to prepare a Readme.txt file and deposit its data in the CORA.RDR repository, with the guidance of instructors.
To participate in the workshop, attendees will need to bring their laptop and data archives they are interested in depositing in the CORA.RDR repository during the session. Those attending online will also need to have their files ready beforehand. This preparation is crucial, since the workshop is practical and no certificates of attendance will be given.
