Memorandum of Understanding between the UAB and Tsinghua University, China
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Tsinghua University, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in China, have signed a memorandum of understanding that opens the door to a new era of academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.
The agreement, signed by Javier Lafuente, rector of the UAB, and by Professor Dongmei Li, chair of the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua, establishes a collaboration framework that includes student exchanges, joint research projects and shared educational programmes, with the launch of joint activities such as seminars, conferences and collaborative funding initiatives.
The memorandum lays the foundations for a stable and long-term collaboration between the Research Group on Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation of the UAB and the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University, for an initial term of five years.
With the signing of this agreement, the UAB reinforces its internationalisation strategy and expands its network of collaborations with world-leading institutions in the field of engineering and technology.
