Grups Arlet i Alisda en concert (Autònoma Actua)
On Thursday 7 April the UAB Theatre will hold a concert by two music groups, Arlet and Alisda, who are two of the selected groups in the call of the Autònoma Actua contest, an initiative that promotes and publicises artistic projects created by members of the university community.

Arlet will perform at 1pm. Arlet is a group with three members who make versions of a wide range of pop-folk modern Catalan songs and versions of pop English songs. In their repertoire they cover songs from various artists, from Quart Primera to Queen; and we can’t forget their original songs, with these songs the group expresses their essence.

At 4 pm will perform Alisda, a trio of three young people who offer a wide and varied selection of rock and roll and new wave songs. In their repertoire we can find songs by Police, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles and John Mayer, but they play these songs with a new point of view, creating an atmosphere with more movement and connection with the public.

This year, apart from the concerts programmed during the Festa Major, Desig and Blue Birds have already played in the stage of the UAB Theatre, as well as the comedy by (H)istrionis, which was highly acclaimed by the audience.

Also, Helena Martin and Marc Codony will present their choreographies on Thursday 28 April at 1 pm at the Plaça Cívica because of the International Dance Day.
