A series of events offered by the UAB community for the UAB community. You've got a date with the UAB Theatre Hall on Tuesdays at 6 pm!
Autònoma Actua is a programme offering musical, theatrical and artistic activities in which university members can interact closely with the audience and display their talent and passion. The objective of the programme is to encourage these performances and the participation of members of the university community.

The proposals chosen by the Autònoma Actua selection committee this past October include a variety of performances by songwriters, choir groups, concerts and theatre plays.

During the months of February and March, the Theatre Hall will be offering every Tuesday at 6 pman artistic proposal prepared by UAB students and administration and services staff.

What will be on the programme this year?

The cycle will begin on Tuesday 10 February at 6 pm at the UAB Theatre Hall with a concert by The Blue, the Blonde and the Auburn, a folk and soul music cover band whose two guitars and two voices cover songs from all periods.

On the following Tuesday, 17 February, at 6 pm there will be another concert by Quartet Mèlt, a mixed vocal a cappella quartet performing songs from different periods and styles with the aim of bringing the history of music closer to the people; and the Jama Quartet, a string group which interprets pieces of different styles.

However, if you prefer something completely different, on Wednesday 4 March at 6 pm you will be able to enjoy a series of fun monologues on female sexuality by the theatre group Vaginem!

And a few days later, on Tuesday 10 March at 6 pm the choir group Els notes will offer a repertoire of modern music which combines the grandeur of a choir with the freshness of modern music.

If you are more of an intimate music lover, on Tuesday 17 March at 6 pm you will be able to enjoy the performance of Carmen Rodríguez, with a style combining pop music and world music. On that same day there will also be a performance by AvantgardeOne, an acoustic songwriter and percussionist who will offer a special vision of a singer-songwriter.

And to end the month of March on a good note, members of the university community will be able to enjoy a theatre performance on the perplexing experiences of a group of friends who reunite after some time without seeing each other. The play will be performed by Stog Teatre and will take place on Tuesday 24 March at 6pm.

Don't think twice and come spend Tuesday evenings at the UAB Theatre Hall and enjoy some of the performances we offer you.
