The evaluation process was carried out in two phases. First, each TFG was reviewed by an expert in the corresponding academic field, according to the criteria of quality and suitability to the service learning (SL) methodology. In addition, the Service Learning Office (ApS) of the UAB, managed by the Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS), supervised the technical requirements and presentation videos. Based on these assessments, a proposal was developed and presented to the resolution committee, which met on 20 January 2025.

Sixth UAB Service Learning Conference

On 26 May the 6th UAB Service Learning Conference took place at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, where three activities were held: an inspiring session on international models of university SL, a participatory "speed dating" activity to broaden views when connecting university faculty and third sector entities or public entities, and an entitites fair.

Service Learning is an educational proposal through which students are trained to participate in a project aimed at solving a real need of a community and thus improve the living conditions of people or the quality of the environment. With this conference, the UAB wants students to engage in a learning experience related to their academic curriculum, the development of personal skills and a real service to the potentially sustainable community.
