UNIRUN 2026, the university race

UNIRUN 2026 will be held on Sunday 1 March. This popular athletic competition involving all twelve Catalan universities, organised by Gadium Sports, takes place on a five kilometre course along Barcelona's waterfront. The race will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the Great Esplanade of the Parc del Fòrum and will run along the coastline of the Sant Martí district and finish on the straightaway of the Parc dels Auditoris. 

UNIRUN promotes sports and healthy habits among the university community, reinforces institutional belonging, and promotes the values associated with sports, such as teamwork and personal improvement. In this edition, the one-euro solidarity donation from each registration goes to  the non-profit organisation Osona contra el càncer, which provides support for people affected by the disease and their loved ones, and promotes prevention, training, and research initiatives.
