Final conference of the European project #edu4sdgs

The conference will present the key results achieved during the three-year #edu4sdgs project, which aims to strengthen the contribution of higher education to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project has worked to empower students, university staff, educators, and lifelong learners to translate knowledge about the SDGs into actions with real impact, while incorporating emotional intelligence as a key driver of change.

In the first part of the day (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.), various tools and resources created as part of the project will be showcased, such as the SDGs University Knowledge Hub, the educational game SDGs Game, the Agents of Change programmes, the open courses on the SDGs, the webinar series, the international summer schools, the digital badge, and micro-credential accreditation systems, as well as other materials aimed at students, university staff, educators and communities.

The second part of the conference (12:00 to 1:00 p.m.) will consist of several interactive working sessions that will allow for an in-depth look at different areas of the project, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and establishing contact with other change agents from across Europe.

The Erasmus+ project #edu4sdgs is a European initiative coordinated by the Lodz University of Technology, Poland, and funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme. The UAB participates as a partner through its Challenges Office, alongside the Association for Welfare and Development (Spain), the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (Germany), Team Coaching (Poland), and Riga Technical University (Latvia). The project will conclude with this online conference, taking place on 25 September, and an in-person meeting of the consortium partners in Łódź from 28 to 30 September.
