Cultural Series: One Health, a World of Health

During the months of October and November, the AmicsUAB offers a cultural series entitled "One Health: un món una salut", dedicated to Sustainable and Healthy Cities.

PROGRAMME

Tuesday 15/10/2024 3:30 p.m. - Ecoparc Sant Adrià del Besòs - Carrer de la Pau 3-5 Sant Adrià de Besòs 

• Guided tour of the Ecoparc Sant Adrià, at the mechanical and biological municipal waste treatment plant which will lead to discussing the topic of generated waste and sustainability.

Wednesday 16/10/2024 11:00 a.m. - Mercabarna - Zona Franca

• Visit to Mercabarna to discover Foodback, a centre for food usage, a pioneering project in the management of surpluses in Spain's wholesale markets, which represents a step forward in the fight against food waste.

Thursday 24/10/2024 11:00 a.m. - PRBB (Board Room) 4th Floor - Carrer Doctor Aiguader 88, Barcelona 

• General presentation by ISGlobal, Healthy and Sustainable City, guided visit to the Barcelona Biomedical research Park (PRBB)
