On 3 October, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., the UAB will be holding a new edition of La Comunitària UAB. This cultural celebration aims to welcome new members of the university community and also serve as a meeting space to mark the start of a new academic year. La Comunitària UAB also seeks to strengthen the University's associative network and inform about the services and areas offering activities, tools and support to students throughout the year.

La Comunitària de primavera

The activities have been programmed mainly in two spaces: the Plaça Cívica and the Espai SiS. The Plaça Cívica will offer performances by the human tower builders, the castellers, and a community lunch organised by the Cívica restaurant (tickets can be booked before 3 October; first 200 tickets will come with a free La Comunitaria UAB T-shirt). The fair, located in front of the Library of Communication Studies and General Newspaper Archive, will have 46 stands of groups registered in the UAB directory, services, units and programmes.

At the Espai SiS, members will be able to enjoy a variety of activities, such as the performance of the UAB Choir or the vermouth-concert organised in collaboration with the International Blues Festival of Cerdanyola del Vallès. There will also be a chess tournament and a space to play badminton. In addition, there will be activities in the Theatre Hall, where Llibert Fortuny will offer a master class, and in the Library of Communication Studies and General Newspaper Archive, the Collective Resource Centre and the Physical Activity Service. Details of the activities, registration and timetables can be found in the blog de La Comunitària.
