The UAB ranks 184 worldwide in the CWUR ranking

The UAB moves up two positions and now ranks 184th among universities from around the world in the latest edition of the CWUR World University Rankings, which takes into account the prestige of graduates and lecturers, as well as the scientific impact of the university.

The 2022-2023 edition of the CWUR World University Rankings, conducted by the consulting organisation CWUR, places the UAB at number 184 worldwide, thus improving its position by two points in comparison to last year's ranking. The UAB also maintains its position as the second top university in Spain, behind only the University of Barcelona.

The UAB obtained a global score of 79 points out of 100. By indicators, the University stands out in the set of Research Quality indicators in position 130, maintaining the score it received in the past edition.

This ranking analyses almost 20,000 universities from around the globe, and then classifies a total of 2,000, whose scores are then calculated according to the following indicators and percentages: quality of education (25%), alumni employment (25%), quality of faculty (10%) and research performance (40%).

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) is a consulting organisation providing policy advice, strategic insights, and consulting services to governments and universities to improve educational and research outcomes and is based in the United Arab Emirates.
