The 34th Call for administrative and service staff and teaching and research staff maintains the essence of the previous editions and establishes two different strands of action. The first strand is related to cooperation for development and focuses on interuniversity cooperation projects aimed at strengthening the partner institutions’ teaching and research competences and improving university management.

The second strand is in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), which is intended to provide initiatives promoting critical knowledge and giving tools that help achieve transformative education standards within the UAB degrees. Such initiatives include actions related to the teaching mainstreaming of the 2030 Agenda of the UN and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Applications for this call shall be submitted from 11 January 2017 to 24 February 2017.

Furthermore, the E2016-2017 Call aims to promote the involvement of Postgraduate, Master’s and PhD students in cooperation projects with underprivileged countries or ESD projects directly linked to their studies or specialization. Special consideration will be given to the proposals forming part of larger UAB projects and research activities related to Master and PhD courses.

Applications for this call shall be submitted from 11 January to 31 March 2017.

The general rules governing the two calls and the application forms are now available in this link.

The FAS’ technical team will offer advice to the parties interested in the calls. For further information in this regard, please contact the Area of Cooperation and ESD by calling 93 581 40 41 or sending an email to: fas.cooperacio@uab.cat.
