Registration for specific programmes for international students beats records once again
University students spend 15 weeks in Barcelona taking classes at the UAB's Sant Pau and Eixample campuses as part of the Pre-established Programme for international students.

The figure of 1070 students this year marks a new record in registrations for the Pre-established Programme, which has had a steady growth in participants in its latest editions. The number of participants in the 2018 edition represents a 12.63% increase with regard to 2017.
Of the 1070 students beginning their classes this January, 55% of them are taking Catalan and Spanish classes and the most popular subjects belong to the fields of economics and marketing.
With regard to places of origin, the tree countries most represented are the United States, Germany and China, with a total representation of students from over 13 countries, such as Belgium, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, Egypt, Morocco, Singapore, Switzerland and Taiwan.
The university students will end their stay on 25 April.
