Mourning for students killed in Súria accident
The UAB held a minute of silence today so that the university community could mourn the death of two students from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) and the University of Barcelona, killed in an accident which took place yesterday in the mine of Cabanasses, Súria.
Rector Lafuente, the UAB Governing Team and members of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona wish to extend their sincere condolences to the families, friends and classmates of the two victims, and to the university communities of the UPC and the UB.
