The deadline for enrolling in the various artistic courses of the first semester is approaching.

Formació artística 23-24

Semi- and annual artistic courses are a good opportunity to develop an artistic discipline within the university and have academic recognition of ECTS credits.

These six-monthly and annual activities offered by Culture en Viu are divided into four classrooms (Music, Theatre, Dance and Scripture) and offer numerous proposals with which to start and develop artistic skills by professionals from different sectors. All these proposals have reduced prices for members of the university community and academic recognition of ECTS credits.

The courses that are still open are as follows:

The Workshop of Initiation to Urban Dance, a proposal directed by Professor Rosa Lechón between 7 November and 23 January, which experiments with the different dance styles of hip hop culture (popping, locking, among others) and seeks to perfect the coordination, balance, rhythm, and choreographic memory of the pupils.

The Contemporary Dance Workshop (Level 1), an activity given by Professor Mario G. Sáez, between 6 November and 15 May, which aims to work out the body awareness and basic and technical knowledge necessary to dance and improvise to the physical limits that the body allows to experience. In addition, musicality is also worked as a point of connection between what is meant and what is felt when it comes to dancing.

The workshop for Theatre Performance (level 2), proposed under the direction of Professor Arnau Vidal, between 2 November and 23 May, will provide theatrical performance tools in order to deepen the process of creating a show, until the exhibition of a play at the end of the year. In order to do this activity, it is necessary to have introductory training in theater.

The Initiation Workshop to Theatrical Interpretation in English, directed by Professor Sophie Heydel, between 8 November and 31 January, where students will experience a huge variety of interpretation pathways that body and voice allow, but with the particularity that classes, interpretation and texts will develop in English.

On the other hand, the courses of Voice Technique, Contemporary Dance (Level 2) and Creative Writing (Level 1) have all the places filled and a waiting list has had to be enabled to enroll in the place if there is a download.

You can find the details of each Artistic Training Workshop (clocks, prices, descriptions, academic recognition...) on the page of each of them through their respective link.
