Over 250 researchers from Europe and the Americas will be participating in the conference and more than 70% of attendants come from universities abroad. The main objective of the conference is to share the latest research conducted in the area of business management and organisation and at the same time seek to improve business practices in this field.

The conference is organised into 13 sessions, coordinated by a representative of each of the publications which form part of INBAM. The issues to be discussed at the conference include transparency and intellectual property, social enterprising, internationalisation of family-run businesses and the role social networks have on business organisations. Each session will include several presentations on the studies carried out by the researchers, the best of which will be selected and later published in a special issue.

There will also be academic workshops focused on the future of publishing articles and the opportunities available and challenges faced, and on the revision, production and elaboration of quality scientific papers.

The INBAM network was created in 2009 by the editors of some twenty international scientific journals in economics and business, all of them indexed in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). It is a not-for-profit organisation, funded by its members and the organisations which founded it: the University of Valencia, the Technical University of Valencia, the Catholic University of Valencia and the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia.
