FAS closing ceremony will include an assessment on the university’s social action by its protagonists

Fundació Autònoma Solidària will hold a closing ceremony of the academic year 2018-2019 on 29 May. The meeting will be moderated by Sergi Picazo. An assessment of the academic year will be carried out through the voice of agents linked to FAS that will share the role of the Foundation as a transformative entity.
 

The journalist who founded El Crític and alumni in UAB, Sergi Picazo, will be moderating this year’s closing ceremony of Fundació Autònoma Solidària. The event will take place on 29 May at 12 noon in Sala d’Actes del Rectorat (Campus Bellaterra, UAB).

The data of impact on the main actions by the foundation will be assessed in order to make a final balance of the academic year. Subsequently there will be two round tables with the agents that take part in the activities that make FAS a university social entity of reference.
 

• The first round table will be focused on the FAS Shelter-Refuge Programme. The table will be composed of four people related to the Shelter programme; each one of them from a different profile and different relation and involvement with the programme.
• The second round table “Volunteering experiences” will be composed of people who had some involvement and relation with the different volunteering programmes that FAS coordinates. They will explain their experience in such programmes.

Following the two round tables, there will be a screening of a video that will go through the main points that FAS works in with the presence of some witnesses of the entity’s social action. Lastly, Carlos Sánchez, Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations and Culture and President of the Fundació Autònoma Solidària, will give a speech and end the FAS closing ceremony 2018-2019. There will also be some refreshments for all attendees in the exit of the central administration and executive offices (Rectorat).

The event will take place on 29 May at 12 noon in Sala d’Actes del Rectorat. Everyone related with FAS is invited: volunteers, interns and grantees, members of the UAB community, entities and bodies that make these activities possible with funding and everyone lined with the programmes and the UAB community.
