Enrolment now open for the UAB Barcelona Summer School for UAB students

The UAB Barcelona Summer School takes place in two three-week periods, from 25 June to 12 July and from 15 July to 2 August, with classes scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost for undergraduate students is €214.

The UAB Barcelona Summer School starts its ninth edition offering 29 subjects of all fields of knowlegde (Sciences, Biosciences, Health Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Law and Engineering).  

This year, the new courses are «Nanotechnology and Society», «The Global Energy Problem: The Scientific Basis of Energy Management, « Beeology: Honeybee Science from Theory to Practice »,«Animal Law: Theoretical and practical Aspects of a growing Field»,« Women’s Rights Protection: a Pathway to international and European Mechanism against Discrimination» i «Research Methods in Education: Hands-on Experience».

Courses take place in two three-week periods, from 25 June to 12 July and from 15 July to 2 August, with classes running from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The teaching language is English, although in some courses, Spanish becomes a vehicular language. Except the online course «Resources for Teaching and Learning English in Infant and Primary Education»all of them are face-to-face.

Registration for courses will be open through the UAB Barcelona Summer School website from April 1 to June 2 (for courses of the first period) and until June 25 for courses that will take place in the second period. Places are limited. 

At the UAB Barcelona Summer School, you will have the opportunity to meet students from all over the world and from different cultures. For example, last year's edition hosted students from 55 different nationalities

In addition, you will be able to practice languages and specialize in a specific field of knowledge.
