ECIU University announces a competition to travel to the Forum 2025 in Trento
The two UAB students to win the Dream Green/Sustainable Travel Plan competition will be awarded an entrance to the ECIU University Forum in Trento (10-11 June), with accommodation expenses paid and a 7-day Interrail pass.
The ECIU University announces the Dream Green/Sustainable Travel Plan competition for students interested in attending its Forum 2025, which will take place on 10 and 11 June in the Italian city of Trento.
To participate, students must design a seven-day green travel itinerary across Europe using the Interrail Global Pass, and focus on sustainable travel means such as trains, bicycles and walking. The itinerary must include:
- A trip to the Forum 2025 in Trento (June 2025)
- Ecological transport options (train, bicycle, etc.)
- Ideas for social network publications, since the winners will be asked to document their travels using the Interrail pass for Erasmus+ (creativities for sharing the pass available here ) and promote it to other students.
- Activities that foster environmental awareness and responsable tourism.
- A reflection on how the journey aligns with the ECIU University’s mission of sustainability, trans-European collaborations and innovation.
All those interested can submit their itinerary in several formats: a written proposal (maximum 1 page), a digital travel guide (maximum 1 page), a video (maximum 5 minutes) or an infography. All documents must be sent via WeTransfer to the ECIU University registration form before 14 February. The competition winners will be announced at the end of the month.
The prize consists of an entrance to the ECIU University Forum in Trento (10-11 June) with all accommodation expenses paid and a seven-day Interrail pass for two UAB students.
ECIU University Forum 2025
On 10 and 11 June, the ECIU University is organising its Forum 2025 in Trento, Italy, an annual networking event that brings together the entire ECIU University community. For two intense days, students, lecturers, administration staff, researchers and stakeholders will be attending sessions that this year focus on how innovation can foster sustainable futures by promoting collaborations between different education and research communities.
The Forum 2025 will be a unique opportunity to shape the future of education and innovation and build lasting relations, generate pioneering ideas and inspire actions that work towards a sustainable world.
