The Humanities Library presents a bibliographic exhibition on Antoni M. Badia i Margarit

Antoni M. Badia i Margarit

In May, when we opened the virtual exhibition, we could not offer the face-to-face version and now you can come and visit it in the display cases of the Humanities Library. This exhibition is accompanied by a video showing the route through it.

With all these exhibition spaces, the Humanities Library, at the request of Professor David Paloma of the UAB Department of Catalan Philology, is added to the Badia i Margarit Year, with the commemoration of the centenary of his birth, underlining the words of David Paloma himself, for whom the university spirit is characterized by the construction and transmission of knowledge, by involvement in the future of society and by a permanent dialogue with the world.

Badia i Margarit, in fact, said of himself that he was moderately optimistic about the future of the Catalan language. "Basically I think we'll get by, not without suffering."
