Physics + Mathematics achieves yet another year the highest cut-off mark in Catalonia, 13.370
The UAB double degree in Physics + Mathematics has reached a cut-off mark of 13.370 points out of 14, the highest in the Catalan university system. Since 2009, these studies have obtained the highest cut-off mark each year except in one occasion. In addition, Physics + Mathematics, which is also taught at the UB (with 20 places at each university), is again this year the only degree that exceeds the threshold of thirteen points.

In total, nine UAB bachelor's degrees have cut-off marks above twelve points (four more than last year). In addition to Physics + Mathematics, this is the case of the degree in Law + International Relations (12.714), the degree in Medicine (12.494), the degree in Biomedical Sciences (12.372), the degree in Physics + degree in Chemistry (12.348), the degree in Physics (12.348), the degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (12.046, interuniversity degree offered by the A4U), the degree in Veterinary Medicine (12.024) and the degree in Mathematics (12.002). The UAB has nineteen degrees with cut-off marks above eleven points and 32 above ten points.
Today the Government of Catalonia released data on the allocation of places in the Catalan university system, which this year will welcome 48,157 new students, of which 9,569 have been assigned a place at the UAB. As in previous years, the UAB bachelor's degrees with the highest number of applications were Medicine, Nursing and Psychology, in line with the predominance of health science studies detected in the demand of the university system as a whole.
The UAB website provides step-by-step instructions on how to enrol online for all first-year students, a process that begins this week. For information on the dates of each bachelor's degree, the necessary documents and the procedure to follow, please consult the enrolment section of the University's website.
