With the beginning of the academic year 2019/2020, and from September 12th to 19th, International Welcome Days (IWD) are back; the week devoted to welcome international students for their first semester at our university for the academic year 2019/2020. IWD want to show international students to our campus, what services it has and what UAB societies they can find. They are also a great opportunity for international students to meet other peers, both local and international.

The activities will start Thursday 12th with the official welcome at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. It is an informative session about all activities they can enjoy during their stay at UAB. On the folling days, international students can participate in the firts Tandem session of the academic year, bring a typical dish to share at the International Lunch, or walk around Barcelona and finish with a picnic lunch at Parc de la Ciutadella.

As a closing ceremony for the week, on Thursday 19th will take place a UAB Students Societies and Services Fair at Plaça Cívica, so international students get to know the associative network and all services provided for students at UAB. IWD are a great opportunity to have a first contact with the university and therefore they promote cultural exchange among students.
