Official Master's Degree in Zoonoses and One Health
Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
The admission requirements are as follows:
- Hold one of the following qualifications: a bachelor’s degree, undergraduate degree, or diploma in the field of health sciences (Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Food Science and Technology, Animal Science and Health, Biomedicine, Psychology, etc.) or life sciences (Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Ecology, Biodiversity, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, etc.), or equivalent qualifications.
- As a compulsory requirement, applicants must provide official documentation demonstrating a minimum B2 level of English (under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), unless English is their native language or they can provide evidence of having completed an undergraduate university degree taught in English.
- Submission of a statement of interest from the applicant.
All requirements must be accredited with documentation.
Selection criteria
Should the number of valid applications be higher than that of places on offer, these will be allocated according to a procedure that, to a great extent, is common to all official master's degree programmes at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
The criteria applied in this procedure include the following.
- Academic Transcript (60%).
- Curriculum vitae. Professional experience and studies in subjects related to the master's degree (20%)
- Personal interview to evaluate the applicant's degree of motivation and expectations (10%).
- Certified English level C1 or above on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (10%).
