For another history of Spanish literature: Republican and internal exile

The first session of the 7th International Conference “Para otra historia de la literatura española: exilio republicano e interior” [For another history of Spanish literature: Republican and internal exile] organised by the Group of Studies of the Literary Exile (GEXEL-CEDID) of the UAB will be held next Wednesday 29 November. The conference will be held in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of GEXEL and will be offered in the Sala de graus and Sala de juntes of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities of the UAB.

The conference is part of the research project "The history of Spanish literature: Republican exile of 1939 and internal exile (PID2020-115252GB-I00)", funded by the Ministry for Science and Innovation, the Literary Exile Study Group, the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR), and also the collaboration of the Ministry for Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia.

Margarita Freixas, dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities; Marta Prat, director of the Department of Spanish Philology; José-Ramón López, director of GEXEL; and various experts on the subject will be speaking at the conference.
